Physical Description: Corey is tall for an 11-year-old girl, and prefers to present in an androgynous style, with her hair cropped in a pixie cut. She's naturally ginger, complete with pale skin and freckles, but bleaches her hair and uses a different temporary hair dye everytime she takes a shower. (every other day- ew) She hopes to learn dying magic soon, because hair dye is expensive! (Faceclaim Ella Schmidt)
Mental Description: Corey is a con artist. She's enamored with money and is always hatching get-rich-quick schemes with her brother. (Well, he hatches them mostly, she executes them) Around teachers, she's a perfect angel and might even be considered a teacher's pet. Being a child, she's bound to slip up in front of a teacher, but hopefully not too bad!
Biography: Her mother, Rebecca Bell, is a 33-year-old witch, and her father, Maxwell Bell, is a 31-year-old American expatriate. He has a witch sister, muggle-born, and knew about Hogwarts before their young daughter started accidentally doing magic. He's been excited for her and her twin brother Ray to go since she first made their cat fly, and eagerly awaits her younger sister's entry into Hogwarts as well. Corey had mostly wizard friends and was homeschooled from age 6 until she was ready to go to Hogwarts. Once, when she was 7, she stole her mum's wand and tried to use muggle-magic words. "Bippity-boppity-boo! Abra-cadaver!" (she mispronounced that one) Obviously, it didn't work.
First Instance of Magic: The family cat got mad at her for chasing it around when she was 6- it jumped at her, and she was startled. Somewhat in self-defense, she threw the cat across the room, but stopped it before it hit the wall. It scampered off none the worse for wear.
