[ FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC ]
joseph gaffin bringing his family to the annual gaffin family gathering. his side of the family is all purebloods, so they tend to look down a bit on his muggle wife and half blood daughter. to get away from the tense atmosphere, catherine wandered into the library- books were her best friend. she found a book that seemed interesting, but the lights were turned down to much. The young girl wondered why her relatives had such ineffective lights, but continued to do her best to read the words anyways. As she focused, the lights seemed to get a little brighter in the previously dim library…
