Tadgh is the oldest of three siblings, having both a younger sister and a younger brother. He entered into the world quietly, much like the night on which he was born, to parents Oliver and Catriona Murphy. Neither of his parents came from exceptional stock but were diligent enough workers to establish a small gym for neighborhood friends and families to meet their physical fitness goals.

As a student in the school system in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Tadgh was never exceptional. At times he was easily distracted. At times he was disinterested and at other times he was fully engaged in the things that he was learning. Much like many other young muggle children he found football (or soccer as some might call it) to be a sport that he loved.

It was at home, a few days after his ninth birthday, when he was practicing with his own ball that he had received as a gift from his parents that magic began to first reveal itself in his life. Instead of it falling back down to his foot as one might have expected it to, it instead continued to hang in mid air, levitating inexplicably (at least in his mind).

That was a secret that was kept until his letter arrived much to the surprise of his parents. But excitement coursed through his veins at the realization that he wasn't a complete loon. What Hogwarts holds for him is unknown. Anxiously he awaits what the future will bring.

Physically he's about average for other children his age, standing a few inches short of five feet tall (4'8" to be exact) with a curly mop full of sandy blonde hair and green eyes to boot. His stature is a bit on the lanky side and he is by no means intimidating in any way, shape or form.
