Marigold Hamilton, you either love her or you hate her. You really can't describe her in one word. She is outgoing, hyper, talkative, intense, shameless, and definitely ridiculous.
She really is a sweet girl. Shes kind, caring, and only wants the best for everyone. But she doesn't really.... understand a lot of things. Like how people don't appreciate being attacked and hugged from behind. Especially by someone you just met. Or how you aren't supposed to run up to and pet every animal you see. Especially in the wizarding world. Or really just social norms in general....
Some people are able to tolerate and even truly befriend her, while others think shes really annoying. Some may even be amused by her, and those who are on the shy side tend to be overwhelmed by her.
She does acceptably in school. She has an especially hard time doing things like taking notes, writing essays, taking written tests, or really just sitting still in general. Though she is quite talented in magic, and does well with things like casting spells and brewing potions. Her strengths lie in doing hands on things that allow her to be up and moving.
She comes from a wizard family, with her father raising her as a single parent. Her father never tried to rein in her excitable and cheerful personality, but in fact, encouraged it!
She is a stocky, short caucasian girl with thick, blond hair that hangs just below her chest. She ofted wears it in 2 pigtails but will sometimes wear it down or even in a ponytail or braid.
