There was nothing out of the ordinary about Elmira Rose's childhood and upbringing- save for the fact that she came out of a family made up of witches and wizards. They still had picnics at the park, and family dinners every Sunday, but both parents were Hogwarts graduates, a Ravenclaw and Gryffindor respectively, and her grandparents, both Hufflepuff, and they all made it very clear- their precious darling girl was going to Hogwarts, one way or another, and when a young, bright-eyed Elmira finally showed signs of magical abilities at the ripe age of nine, her future as a witch was well assured, much to the relief of her family- and to herself.

Elmira is young, spirited and clever, with an ever-growing curiosity about the world she came from. More often than not, she could be found tucked away in a corner of the Rose family home, dark hair tied away from her face, pouring over books and scrolls her parents kept in their study. When asked about her findings at the dinner table, she'd ever so eagerly relay her findings, chocolate brown eyes holding the glow that only an inquisitive child could have. Her mother, former member of the clever house of Ravenclaw took pride in her daughter's hunger for knowledge, though her husband, albeit jokingly, expressed his despire for their daughter to eventually become a professional Quidditch player- a Chaser, specifically.
