Origin: James was born as the first child to a wizard mother and muggle father. He soon had one brother and then a sister, who he was tasked to look after. He grew up in an average home, despite the incredible abilities of his mother.
His father is a cook with a restaurant in Hillingdon, where the cuisine is based around legumes. Although James didn't particularly like the dishes, he still spent a lot of time at the restaurant.
He wasn't taught magic extensively by his mother, but his father would often give James and his siblings access to her library filled with books related to magic. James wasn't as interested in theory without practice, so he would often try to cast magic by himself, much to his parents annoyance.
His favorite subject in the library of his mothers was magical creatures. James loved animals, but the stories of magical creatures gave even him nervousness. When he was eight years old, he saw a dragon while with his mother. The brief experience was enough to instill awe and respect toward the creature. Indeed, he wanted to meet them and learn about the rarest species. He was excited to receive his letter to Hogwarts, so he could finally try out what he had only read so far. His dream is to befriend a dragon.
