Belle Ami LaFortin is a first year, with a fairly healthy body. She certainly isn't fit, but her metabolism keeps her slim in her young years. She works out from time to time, so she isn't terribly out of shape though, so she does have slight muscle definition in her arms. Belle's eyes are a hopeful leafy green, bright and full of life despite the bags under them from being up at all Hours of the night. The Green colour of her eyes is odd for her hair colour - a brunette with natural highlights. Her parents used to call her hair colour "cedar bark and sunset", since it took on a very similar tone in the evening hours.

Belle's family is supposedly pure blooded, and has been since the beginning. At least, that's the rumor. Belle isn't certain herself, but she doesn't really care either way. She despises people who think what you can do is based on your bloodlines, and is very willing to stand up for anyone who may be bullied because of theirs. Her parents understand her views on this, but her father believes that good blood at least helps.

Belle chose Hogwarts for a few simple reasons: It was well known so she didn't need to research it, it was close enough, and many students went to that school each year. These simple facts made Hogwarts the smart and easy choice, leaving Belle nothing to do but gather her school supplies and say her goodbyes.
