Selene, a half-blood, came from a somewhat humble background. She was born to a wizard mother and a muggle father in the city of Paisley Scotland. Much to her parents' relief, she was content to stay there as the years went by. Her parents raised her on the idea that she wouldn't be attending Hogwarts, and would instead live as a normal child in a normal school. She happily did so and gained a small group of friends as time went on. However, as Selene grew older, her powers became difficult to hide and she received a letter from Hogwarts. Excited to have the option to learn magic, Selene convinced her parents that it was the right thing to do. After a heated debate, it was decided. The young girl would go to Hogwarts.
Selene has dark brown, curly hair that reaches just a few inches below her shoulder blades. She dark green eyes and a pale complexion.
Her eyes are almond shaped and she has a fairly average lip size. Slightly shorter than other girls, Selene likes to think of herself as at an advantage. She can fit into tighter spaces and in all honesty, she kinda likes pulling the short card on people. Selene is what some might call, mischievous. She enjoys pulling a good prank on her friends every now and then, but absolutely refuses to even talk to someone she doesn't know. It takes a while for her to warm up to anyone and in most cases, she's too anxious to talk to anyone. So most people would describe her as quiet and somewhat of a bookworm. Every now and then, Selene might sneak in a sassy remark, but she tries to be as invisible as possible at first.
