Teegan was adopted very early in life, although he never knew it. The elderly man that cared for him always told Teegan he was his grandfather. Growing up in Stratford-Upon-Avon, he was a normal little muggle child. He attended primary school, made friends, played sports, and did homework. That all changed the day he turned eleven. He awoke to find an owl, a real, live owl, in his sitting room. Sitting next to it and gently petting the bird was his grandfather. The older man was smiling at the boy with the biggest grin on his face Teegan had ever seen. Once Teegan had finally found his voice, he asked what was going on. "The day I've been waiting and hoping for," his grandfather replied. "There's much I've got to tell you." His grandfather finally revealed that he was not, in fact, Teegan's real grandfather. He was a wizard. "Ah, yes," he exclaimed. "Magic is very real, my boy! Very real indeed!" He told Teegan that when he visited the orphanage nearly eleven years ago, he could tell there was something special about that little, blond boy that couldn't even sit up. He had waited all these years just to see if his guess, that the special feeling he had about Teegan was that he was a Wizard, was true. And the owl there in the living room, a letter with the seal of Hogwarts clutched in its talon, proved he was right. They spent the whole day talking. His grandfather told him all he knew about the world of Witches and Wizards until noon, and spend nearly the rest of the day answering all the fantastic and crazy questions the young boy had, never tiring of giving a response.

Teegan is short for his age, and quite on the scrawny side. His wavy, blond hair is longer, and constantly gets in his eyes. He's a curious little boy that's kind and welcoming to everyone he meets, even if they're not the nicest to him. He'll always give second chances, and sometimes third, if he feels they're merited. He puts others before himself and loves making others smile. He tends to be shy when he first meets someone, but warms up quickly almost every time. Despite such a positive nature, he does despise it when others are arrogant and cruel, often speaking out to them, even when he knows that he may leave with a black eye or a cut lip.
