Physical Description: A human girl who is rather tall for her age at 5'3 (160 cm), and of about average weight. She has choppy brown hair that goes just down to the start of her neck. She has green eyes, a small, button nose, and thin lips, and her pale face is dotted with freckles. She wears large, round glasses that are often taped together in the center, since she breaks them often on accident. She can usually be seen sporting some sort of extremely blue outfit, since its her favourite color, and a striped scarf that was given to her by her favorite grandmother. She prefers to dress more casually, much to chagrin of her mother.

Mental Description: Alice Grimmshaw is a rather rambunctious child, preferring to play outside and roughhouse than do more quiet, indoor activities. She can often be spotted chewing gum or sucking on some sort of hard candy, both because she loves sugar and because its something to do when she's bored. She's a rather confident, outgoing young lady, not afraid to drag a potential new friend into a game of tag. If you asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she'd excitedly shout that she wants to play quidditch for Puddlemere United!

Biography: Both her father and mother's sides on the family, the Grimmshaws and the Pritchards respectively are long lines of pureblood wizards. Alice is the second of three children. She has an older sister, the intelligent golden child named Mary, who her mother makes no secret of favoring, and a younger brother named Kingsley, a sensitive artist who has a way with plants, but who peculiarly never gotten along with animals. Mary and Kingsley are 14 and 9 1/2 respectively. Her mother, Eleanore Grimmshaw (maiden name Pritchard), holds all of her children to equally high standards, and as such, views Alice and Kingsley in a bit more of a negative light than she does Mary. They have spent many an afternoon being compared to their older sister, and scolded for not being more like her. It happened so often growing up that Alice and Kingsley made a some bingo cards for it and made a game of it. Their father was less intense growing up, and while he never seemed all that interested in the hobbies of any of his children, he would buy an art set or a sports ball for them without hesitation if they asked for one. Alice and Kingsley consider themselves sort of a team, and spent many afternoons in the backyard of their lovely estate while Kingsley did art and Alice made mud pies or played tag with the other kids from the area, her favorite of whom was Chelsea Martin, another pureblood girl around her age.

Alice's grandother, affectionately referred to by the children and "Gamma Gimmshaw" after a very young Kingsley called her that once, used to play quidditch professionally when she was a younger woman. She has always been encouraging of Alice's interest in the sport, as well as overjoyed at the artistic and scholarly accomplishments of Kingsley and Mary respectively.

First Instance of Magic: Alice was about five when her mother handed her a stuffed pink rabbit. As soon as it touched the small child's hands, it miraculously turned blue! Alice was overjoyed at this development, and never questioned why the toy spontaneously changed colors. Little did she know it was she herself who made this change happen.
