Lune has long, blonde, wavy hair and dark blue/grey eyes. She is slightly tall and slim for her age. She prefers to wear dark colours, her mother used to tell her it suits her best.
She is quite reserved around most people but not shy. She will sit in the back and listen to everyone's conversations. Reading is something she really enjoys, especially books about numerology and astrology. When she is alone she is always singing or humming. She also used to take ballet and contemporary dance classes with her two best muggle friends who attend a performing arts school in London.
Lune grew up in a very large family of 10, so 8 siblings. Her parents are rarily at home because of work, her mother is a designer and runs her own clothing company in London, her dad spends day and night in his office but neither Lune nor her siblings know what exactly it is he does.
The Casterwill family lives in what used to be a church in Canterbury, Kent. When their parents are from home, Lune's oldest sister is in charge but she does not take her responsibility at all.
Lune's two best friends are twins who live in London, so she is only able to see them in the weekends for their dance classes and in the schoolholidays. Lune attended a muggle school in Canterbury, just like all her siblings.
The first memory of magic Lune has she must've been around 3 years old. She was sitting in the garden surrounded by leaves, she remembers being fascinated by them when they suddenly levitated and circled around her like she was in the middle of a very small hurricane.
The magical blood comes, surprisingly, from her mothers side of the family. Lune's father is a quiet, strict and mysterious persona, her mother, Marie-Anne is vain and very materialistic. She never told Lune anything about the magical world, this was because, Lune later found out when she read Marie-Anne's old letters to her sister (Lune never knew she had an aunt either), her mother had sworn off magic a long time ago and had always hoped she could raise her children as muggles. Lune learns her mother comes from a family of very dark witches and that when she reached the legal age of 17, her mom rebelled and broke off every contact with her family.
After Lune found out she is a witch, she decided to write her aunt Mabel in secret, who was very pleased to hear her niece has magical abilities and wrote she hopes Lune will be sorted in Slytherin, like herself and the rest of the family.
