Evelyn has a medium stature standing at 149 cm tall. Evelyn has long light blond hair and has blue eyes. Before Evelyn came to Hogwarts, she decided to dye her hair platinum white. Evelyn is usually seen with a very neutral face and is known to not really over display emotions.

Evelyn is pretty shy and is not one to approach someone in a conversation. She may seem pretty boring and monotonous from the outside, but on the inside she is bustling with life. She is usually always in her own head just daydreaming about what could be. Evelyn also has a pretty hardworking attitude, especially when someone else is counting on her for something. She hates disappointing people due to a fear of them leaving her. This can also make her pretty easy to manipulate because she tries her best to not get on the bad side of anyone.

Evelyn's parents are your usual over achievers. If she brought home a 95 on a test, they would be disappointed as to why she did not get a 100. In the beginning, Evelyn tried her best to get those scores, spending entire days studying to make her parents proud of her. After a while, she realized she just could not cope with the stress and started straggling a little bit. This causes her parents to be pretty upset so from that day, Evelyn decided to work as hard as she could to be the best at something. No matter what she tried, she always ended up mediocre.

Due to the fact that Evelyn was always working, she never got a chance to interact with other kids her age a lot. This caused her to get a shy attitude and her nervousness around other people. At school, she always saw others with their friends group and always wanted one but was afraid that it would only result in more expectations about her. Evelyn ended up feeling useless because she was really not good at anything.

When Evelyn was 10, she was studying for an exam the next day. It was pretty late and Evelyn was pretty stressed because the test was over one of her weakest subjects. She looked at the celling and pull her hair frustrated. Suddenly, the paper in front of her would rip in half. This was the first occurrence of magic for Evelyn. This scared Evelyn a bit but after a while she realized that this could be a way to finally get good at something. After all, it was something special to her.

Evelyn then went to her parents to let them know what had happed. She was never one to really keep secrets from her parents. She had learnt long ago that the efforts where just futile. Her mom would be surprised at this and quickly usher Evelyn to a room in private. Her mom is actually from a magical family but due to her not having any magic, she was outlawed. Her mother came to live in the muggle world and ended up marrying a muggle who knew nothing of the magic. The mom would give her usual self-serving grin to Evelyn. Perhaps she was thinking that now, she would no longer be considered a disgrace to her family?

At age 11, Evelyn received a strange letter stating that she had made it into a weird place called Hogwarts. Evelyn's first instinct was to throw the letter away, probably some kind of prank. After closer inspection, Evelyn found that the letter seemed magical of sorts. Intrigued, Evelyn would tell her about the letter and for the first time, Evelyn's mom seemed proud of her. She explained to Evelyn what Hogwarts was along with some basic knowledge about magic. The two would tell Evelyn's dad that Hogwarts was just some private elite academy and with her parent's consent, Evelyn headed to the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
