PHYSICAL: Ethan Moore is an average looking student at Hogwarts. He has bright blue eyes that often reflect the sunlight outside and jet black hair, cut sloppily by his grandmother. Ethan is on the shorter end of his peers, standing at only 132cm, or 4'4". He is quite insecure about his height and makes up for the insecurities by having a voice that is always heard.

Ethan tends to wear clothes that are too big for him- due to having to wear hand-me-downs that used to be his older brother's clothes. He can often be found with a belt wrapped tight around his waist, his jeans cuffed four or five times, and sweater sleeves meticulously rolled up to his elbows. Ethan is often overlooked because of his size and stature, but he is determined to not let people's assumptions about him affect his future at Hogwarts.

MENTAL: Ethan usually refers to himself as a "selective extrovert." He is an introvert at first glance, not speaking much in class and sitting by himself for meals. However, he can surpass his introverted tendencies when him or one of his friends are being disrespected in any way. Since Ethan was bullied a lot at home, he has learned to stick up for himself and will do the same for any of his friends.

Even though Ethan has no problem with standing up to bullies or shouting back at people being rude to people he cares about, the young wizard still has issues with anxiety- mostly stemming from the earlier mentioned bullies back in his hometown. He can usually push down the feelings of fear and anxiety but sometime the emotions take over and Ethan shuts down, having to tuck himself into bed and stay for a few hours. Overall, Ethan is a loyal friend who will not hesitate to ignore his own emotions to protect those he cares about.

BIO: Ethan was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. He grew up with his parents and older brother, all three of whom went to Hogwarts in the years before him. Ethan's older brother passed away shortly after leaving Hogwarts and his death is still a mystery to this day. His parents decided they could not take care of their remaining child due to the grief they had from losing their first-born and Ethan was sent with a suitcase full of clothes to live with his Grandmother. His grandmother tried her best to give Ethan the best life she possibly could but when she fell ill, she made sure to distance herself from her grandson- spending most of her time in bed or cooking in the kitchen.

Ethan's small stature made him an easy target for bullies when he was younger and the entire experience has given him thicker skin. He learned to be harsh and aggressive at school, but gentle and polite while at home with his Grandmother. Ethan had to grow up quickly back in Cork and now that he is at Hogwarts, he worries he will never get the chance to be a proper child. However, Ethan is steadfast and determined and he is ready to show that he has got what it takes to be a student at Hogwarts.

MAGIC: Ethan has been around magic his entire life, but he never thought he had what it took to live up to the Moore name. No matter how many times he would quietly recite phrases he heard his family say, nothing would happen. Not a single flicker of magic. He had given up on his abilities until one day, Ethan was walking to the market to buy some last minute ingredients for dinner when a vehicle on the road veered out of control and headed straight for Ethan. The young eight year old froze in fear and closed his eyes tight to prepare for his inevitable doom but... nothing happened. Not even a scratch.

Ethan did not feel a thing as the vehicle seemed to go right through him, crashing into a light pole a few feet away from him. He knew this was no "miracle" and ran home immediately, telling his grandmother of the incident and how he finally discovered his powers- all by accident.
