Physical Description: MacKinsey has shoulder-blade length deep brown hair and bright blue-gray eyes. Her skin is of a medium tone and she has a light dusting of freckles on her face. She is average height, with sharp features. Her hair is usually hanging down her back to hide the birthmark on the back of her neck.

Mental Description: MacKinsey is smart and judgemental but can be very kind to people she likes. She is sarcastic and comedic but her witty remarks are often slightly offensive. She likes to hang out by herself or with close friends, which is rare for her, seeing as her family moves a lot. As a result of that, she is often viewed as cold or stand-offish.

Biography: Home life in the Radford household was chaotic, to say the least. Because MacKinsey doesn't come from a very fortunate family, her parents were constantly moving the whole family across the country to find work. She has a younger sister named Layla(7), an older sister Riley-Rose(17) and an older brother, Carson(20). She is closest to her brother and her dad. She has a friend named Janet who lives in Edinburgh, where she lived before moving to Tobermory. Even though they don't live close to each other anymore, they still write to each other whenever they get a chance. Her father(Laurence Radford) is a mail truck driver, and her mother(Alejandra Suarez) picks up small jobs wherever they move, such as babysitting, dog-walking, lawn care among other things. Sadly, her mother died a month before she came to Hogwarts, causing her to be in a bad mood all the way to the magnificent school. She wrote a poem for a mother and read it at her funeral.
Roses are red, Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet & perhaps so are you.
But the roses have wilted and the violets are dead,
The sugar bowl is empty, your wrists stained red.
The sun isn’t shining, the sky isn’t clear;
There’s no silver lining ‘cause you're no longer here.
Rain keeps on pouring, there’s no end in sight,
You’re laying there frozen, so far from the light,
Your beauty’s unreal, your smile the sun,
But time can’t be turned nor your actions undone.
The words that you wrote, that only I read;
“I love you so much; please don’t cry when I’m dead.”
A bond we formed, a love that ran deep, a pain we shared,
A friend I could keep.
I wanted to hold you,
Wipe the tears from your eyes,
Been there the moment you said your goodbyes.
I want to forget but most times I don’t,
I want to let go, but I know that I won’t.
Tears on my face,
Memories burned in my head.
The roses have wilted,
And the violets are dead

First Instance of Magic: MacKinsey's first instance of magic was a small one. She had gotten a job walking her new neighbor's dog after school, and she was just walking back up her street. All of a sudden, the dog(Murph) let out a bark and went running after a squirrel. The leash broke as he went running. MacKinsey stuck out her hand to hold on to the remainder of the leash, but it actually just reconnected the pieces. She was shocked but understood that this was something she had to live with.
