William "Will" Aldair was born into a loving family of wizards. His mother and father Catherine and Henry Aldair had high hopes for their only son and as such taught him everything they could about the wizarding world. It came as no suprise when William recieved his letter from Hogwarts yet he still felt excitement when it finally did arrive. Though William is a Pure-blood, his family still fraternizes with half-bloods and holds no distaste for muggles. However, William's ancestors had superstitions about marrying half-bloods or muggles as they often believed non magical blood in the Aldair family would lead to less and less Aldair's being born with magic until eventually the Aldair's magical lineage is gone and forgotten.The Aldair's have always considered magic as a great gift and the thought of losing magic forever was enough to keep many Aldair's from marrying those with any non-magical blood. It was clear that magic meant everything to the Aldair's and every generation was brought up to know the truth of the world... Magic was everything and without it we were nothing.

Description/ Personality : Standing at 5'4" William Aldair has a lean build and a composure that exudes confidence. He has messy black hair with warm amber eyes. William is best described as confident, cunning, and crafty. William's strongest attribute may be his confidence in his abilities and his hunger to learn more about magic than he could from his parents. William loves learning new magical spells, potions, and pretty much anything that includes the arcane. He however, has little interest in everything that isn't magic such as history, classical art, and ,of course, muggle studies.
