Rosanna has light ginger hair down to her chest, and light blue eyes. She has pale skin, and doesn’t freckle. She is very short for her age, standing at only 4’3. She often wears simple hoodies, dungarees or jeans. Also, crocs. She tends to wear simple blues, greens and greys. She has a long, white scar across her face. She often wears simple jewellery, such as a simple charm bracelet.

Rosanna is a average student, with average grades. She is often dubbed as ‘teachers pet’, as teachers often pick her to hand out things. She has a fascination with magical creatures, and wishes to have a pet dragon of her own. She is very clumsy, and has slight anxiety. Rosanna is not the slightest bit athletic. She is very bubbly and funny, and tends to make friends quicker than most- when she does she is very loyal and dependable. Rosanna always listens to people.

Rosanna lives with her mum, brother Nigel, stepsister Sara and her stepdad Charles. She gets on well with her mum, is constantly teased by Sara and has an ok relationship with Charles and Nigel. Rosanna and her family thought that the letter was a big joke when Rosanna got it- taut finally realised it was real. She lived with her stepdad for a year when she was 9, and her mum was ill in hospital. Rosanna is 11, her mum is 45, Nigel is 9, Sara is 15 and Charles is 48.

When Rosanna was 9, and her mum was rushed to hospital, her stepdad told her and she lashed out, and the Bush nearby was set on fire. She and her stepdad both thought it was a hallucination, and never spoke of magic again until she was given her letter.
