I have long light brown hair, and it's kind of wavy depending on what I do with it the night before. My eyes are a light brown color, kind of like my mother's, or so I've heard. I'm very athletic, having done many sports. I love to read, mostly in the study my father has put into our house. I've been told that I can be talkative and bossy but I don't really see what people mean by that.

I've barely met my mom. She and my dad split when I was about 4 and I've always stayed with my dad. I have an older brother but he has always stayed with my mom. I can't remember much about why our parents split up and we both went to separate houses, other than the fact that we had no choice in the matter. I love my dad dearly but sometimes I wish that I could see my mom and brother.

My first instance of magic was about a year and a half after my parents split up. I just started school and I was upset about having to leave my father. The first couple of days were a mess but it was getting better until a new kid came along. I was playing with some building blocks, trying to create a castle. The new kid came over and kicked them down. I became very angry and looked down, trying to contain the anger before it became something big like my father taught me. After a while, I slowly looked up and saw the building blocks hovering about three centimeters above the table. They dropped from the air quickly. Instead of saying anything about it to the teachers, I got back to work rebuilding it. When I got home after that school, I remember telling my dad. I watched shock go across his face. Then realization. And, finally, concern. He called my mother and told her about it. I don't remember much after except seeing my mother and brother again. After it, my mother explained the magical world to me and that I was a witch. I can't recall much of what she said but nobody discussed it ever again until I got my letter.
