Description
Corey, age eleven, stands at an even four foot four, he had shoulder length dark ginger locks, and deep, emerald green eyes. He had freckles dusting across the bridge of his nose, and his cheeks, a gap between his two front teeth and small rounded ears. The boy's bottom lip was worn, chewed flesh, as he often gnawed at it when he was lost in thought. The curve of his jawline was soft, and supple, signatures of his youth. Corey's elbows were dry and calloused, doubtless due to his adventures outdoors and wrestling with his brothers. He had a few scrapes and bruises on his knees, and ankles. He liked to wear shorts and flannel shirts, as it gave him more freedom to move around.

Personality
Corey is headstrong and also hard headed, he would follow instructions by an adult as long as it made sense to him. He was very friendly, but he desired loyalty above all else. If you burn him once, he will never speak to you again. Corey was a smart boy, but he didn't like to apply himself towards academics and this often got him in trouble. The deepest thought he had during the day was if he was hungry or not.

History
Corey was homeschooled before he received his Hogwarts Letter, but he was not sheltered in the least. He enjoyed the wilderness, and when he wasn't, he was at home either doing homework or chores. Corey had two sisters and one brother, they were all older than him but displayed no magical capabilities. Corey's parents were muggles and had never even heard of magic before, and it was hard for them to believe it even existed. Corey did have one muggle best friend he had known since he was a baby, but other than him he spent his time with his siblings at their small cottage in Edinburgh.

Magic
Corey's first incident with magic truly took he and his entire family by surprise. Corey was outside doing his chores when his older brother, Sam, decided to torture him a little by constantly sneaking up behind him and pushing him into the mud over and over until Corey lost his temper. Sam suddenly found himself drenched in mud water from head to toe, like a mini explosion had gone off. Corey promptly received his acceptance letter the following afternoon.
