Astra Seemsa has a dad and brother that she lives with. Her mum died when she was six, but she remembers her well. Astra can make many friends easily but likes to have a couple of close friends that understand her.

Accidental magic:
Astra set a book on fire when her dad was screaming at her. She had felt angry and felt her mind go blank. Her father had known she was a witch but didn't like it and always hated her for what she was. When she set the book on fire, she wanted to run to her room and cry into her pillow but knew there would be consequences.

On Astra's 11th birthday an owl came unexpectantly through Astra's window, and there was her acceptance letter to Hogwarts.
