Hayden is a slim boy with dark brown hair and eyes. He is not known to be physically strong. His height is pretty average for his age, has no scars and constantly wears glasses. He can't see without them so he always has an extra pair in his pockets.

Hayden is very cheerful and always happy kid. He doesn't get offended easily and likes to be honest with everyone.... Almost painfully so. He has passion for medicine, almost equal to obsession with it, thanks to his father. He doesn't have many friends as people thinks he is a little weird but he is not bothered by the fact that he has no friends his age.

Hayden's mother is a stay at home mom and his father is a doctor, which sparked Hayden's fascination with it. He used to read a lot of books and liked to rationalize things . He rarely went out to play with the other kids and always had good grades at school.

The first time that magic came to his life was when he was in his father's study. There were many books packed up on the top shelf and Hayden really wanted to read one of those. Seeing as he wasn't tall enough, he tried many things to reach them. He used boxes, chair and anything he could step on but it was rather pointless. The closest he got was to touch the rim of the shelf. He was so focused on the book that at one point it began shaking and slipping out of the row and fell down on the floor. When he told his parents about it, they thought it was just Hayden being a child and ignored it.
