Biography:
Jessenia lives with her Pureblood father and her Muggleborn Step-mother in a quaint neighbourhood located in the muggle area of Chelsea. She loves them both entirely and they support her with everything she wants to do. They are strict at times but it is within reason and for Jessenia's own safety. She often plays Quidditch with her father and her cousins when they go for Christmas and have an annual family Quidditch match.
Jessenia loves spending time with her step-mother who teaches Jessenia about art as she is an artist. Her Step-mother, Julia Vidal (neé Summers) was a Hufflepuff and specialises in painting moving images of aristocrats and animals. She is a well sought after painter and many aknowledge her for her skills. She became an artist to be able to be more at home with Jessenia and help raise her, which she was happy to do. Before becoming an artist she used to be a Magizoologist, specialist on Magical Sea Creatures.
Her father, Xander Dimitri-Vidal, was a Ravenclaw and works for the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic. He works in Defence, researching and progressing defence tactics for possible international attacks. But the defence tactics are of national secrecy to give the country an upper hand against possible future attacks. Before working for the DoM he worked for International Confederation of Wizards. But moved to the DoM because of clashing ideologies and ageism. Though her father is busy he finds time in the weekends to sit down and spend time with Jessenia whether it is teaching her about Quidditch or telling her stories that he was told by her late Grandmother.
Her birth mother had left as soon as Jessenia was born so Jessenia does not know much about her at all. She only knows she was a Healer and a Slytherin.
First Instance of Magic:
Jessenia had her first instance of magic when she was very young. Jessenia's father had come home one day to find her hysterical step-mother looking everywhere for her. They eventually found that the 5 year old Jessenia had somehow perched herself on top of a large apple tree in order to protect a nest full of little squabs from a squirell. How she got up there she herself did not know or could not remember. But her father suggests that she had most likely apparated up there in fear of the safety of the squabs.
