Description: Tatiana has long dark blonde hair (inherited from her mother) and stormy grey eyes (inherited from her father). She is somewhat short for her age, her height being nearly 5 feet. She also happens to have a faint scar on the right-hand corner of her forehead, from the time when she tripped and consequently hit her head on the foot of a steel chair. She has fair skin that gets red easily when she blushes or stays in the sun for too long. She has a long straight nose and people say she has a resting intimidating face but she personally doesn't know how true is that.
Mental Description: She is a big bookworm and a curious person by nature. She loves learning about different things and exploring different areas. Some say that she has too big ambitions but she doesn't think there is anything wrong with having large goals as long as one has the determination to achieve them. She values traits like perseverance, discipline, wisdom, determination, and creativity a lot. She likes writing stories and poems and gazing at the stars through her telescope (which was gifted to her on her tenth birthday). She is very attracted to mystical objects, themes and concepts, and her deepest desire is to travel the world, to see what all amazing things it has to offer.
Biography: She comes from a nuclear family. Her parents are muggles and she is the first witch in the family. Her mom is a teacher and her dad works for a muggle company. They are very understanding and her father is an exceptionally patient man. They always tell her the significance of a good education and self-discipline, and since childhood has instilled in her the importance of being courteous and kind to everyone. When they came to know that she was a witch, they were very happy for her though they didn't like the prospect of sending her far away from themselves for nearly a year. She has a younger brother who also has shown signs of accidental magic like exploding the plate of vegetables in front of him (because he really didn't want to eat them) and falling from a ride but managing to slow his fall so he was fortunately not hurt. He is 5 years younger than her and the professor who came to tell her about her magic, also informed her family of her brother's condition. Her parents were delighted but she also thinks they were relieved to finally have a good reason as to why strange occurrences often happened near their children. The professor also informed them that it was rare to have two muggleborns from the same household but Tatiana was happy that she will be able to attend Hogwarts with her brother in the future (even though her brother is kind of boisterous and loud-mouthed).
First Instance of Magic: She personally doesn't remember much about her first accidental magic occurrence but her father has told her how she once managed to unknowingly levitate a book when she was 4 years old, from the top of the shelf towards herself. The Harringtons have a small library in their house and as a child, Tatiana often played there. Since she liked listening to stories from a very early age, she was always asking her mother and father to narrate them to her. On that fateful day, she was in the library and her father was sitting in a corner doing some work of his own. She was pestering him to tell her stories from her favourite storybook which was a big black leatherbound book placed on the topmost shelf. In the end, her father agreed and left the library to go to the attic so as to get a ladder. But Tatiana was getting impatient, especially since the book was clearly within her sight, but out of reach. Her frustration was increasing and so was her annoyance. Just as she was thinking to scream for her father, the book started dislodging itself from the shelf and dropped on the floor with a loud thud. Since she was a child, she didn't think much about it until her father came back and was extremely shocked at finding the book in her hands.
