Hello! My name is Violet Bethany Inkwood, but my friends call me Vi. I was born on February 23, 2009 in London, but my family moved to Crowborough when I was three. I have blond wavy hair, often held in braids or other updos, that my mother likes to believe has movie-style curls. I wish. I have silver-blue eyes with light skin and rosy cheeks. I am five foot two, and extremely clumsy, which, as you may have guessed, is not a spectacular pairing. I am often tripping over my own feet and dropping my books, but that isn't all to me. I am fairly in-touch with my feelings, which often makes others uncomfortable. Also, as you can see, I am an open book, and very honest, to the point where it can be considered rude. I have a photographic memory, which often gives me a leg up in things like school, but thoroughly annoys my classmates. I come from a family of wizards and muggles. My father, Burt Inkwood, works in the ministry attempting to discover solutions to unknown hexes and jinxes. My mother works in Diagon Alley selling quills and books, and she's quite gifted with it, too. She is muggle-born herself, making me a halfblood. I am the middle child in my family. I have an older sister, Wishley, who is constantly trying to teach me lessons and show me how to do things, and she is highly obsessed with boys, something I personally do not understand. She is fourteen, and a Gryffindor, like my father. My younger brother, Alexander, or Alex for short, is a mischievous prankster, always blaming things on someone else. I really hope he matures once he reaches age ten. I first used magic when I was six years old, as I was visiting the ocean with my family, and then got into a water fight with Wishley, who was then nine. She forced me under the water, and I couldn't breathe, until suddenly I found myself on the sand, her lying opposite me, with no memory of how I got there. As everyone in my family is magical, this served as no surprise, but it was still a nice relief. My interests include theater, art, reading, writing, potions, and charms. I am bisexual, and my family is alright with it. It was unexpected when I was sorted into Slytherin, as I thought I was a Ravenclaw, but I hope to do my house justice!
