Physical Description: Korra inherited the darker skin and deep brown eyes of her Latino father, but otherwise she is the splitting image of her mother, down to the mole under her left eye. And in memoriam of her late mother, Korra wears her hair deep red, with long bangs and braided pigtails.

Mental Description: Korra is a quiet, though very stubborn girl. She tends to keep to herself and often prefers the company of books or animals over humans. Although usually quiet, Korra does not hesitate to speak her mind when needed, refusing to ignore things she doesn't agree with, which often lands her at the forefront of heated arguments and even fights, in some cases. But she'd rather go home with a bruise, than with the knowledge of having had someone walk over her or one of her friends.

Biography: Korra was born to an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Derry, Northern Ireland. Both her parents were Muggles. Her mother died when Korra was 6, which left both father and daughter devastated, but both wanted to be
strong for the othe. And so they did. Her father had to work hard to provide for his daughter and himself and often struggled, living a country that he wasn't native to. During times when work was sparse, Korra and her father spend a great deal of time together and although times were tough, some of Korra's happiest memories are of these times spend with him. At times when work was good, Korra was often home alone for long periods of time, only seeing her father briefly in the morning and the evening. She'd spend these times walking through the forest or laying by the water and reading crime or fantasy novels.
When her Hogwarts letter arrived, Korra trembled with excitement, but expected to wake up any second. Until that moment, as far as she was concerned, witches and wizards had only existed in her books. Though so far, this dream has not ended. Her father broke out in tears of happiness upon hearing the news, being overjoyed about Korra's luck. Her mother would've been so proud, yet so jealous of her, he always says. She always wanted to be a witch.

First Instance of Magic: When Korra had been five years old, she had once returned from playing in the garden with a walnut, that a squirrel had dropped right at her feet. Excitedly she had showed her mother. She however, told Korra, that the squirrel must've been frightened into dropping it and that squirrels carry their food around to bury it, so they can dig it back up when the winter comes. At this Korra felt horrible, having taking away the squirrels food supplies. Crying, she ran outside, laid the the walnut on the ground at the edge of the garden and screamed an apology to the squirrel out into the woods. As she did so, a large old walnut tree, that stood just outside the fence surrounding the garden, quivered and, like passengers abandoning a sinking ship, walnuts fell and fell, out of the treetop until it was barren only seconds later.
This cheered Korra up. The squirrel didn't have to go hungry at all. Excitedly, she called for her parents, who were astounded at the sight of the ground filled with walnuts. Her mother kept gazing at the tree, expecting someone or something who could've shaken the tree to sit in there, but she found no one.
On the following days, squirrels came in dozens, picking up some of the fallen treasure and running off to bury it in the forest. They kept coming for nearly a week and still the ground wasn't clear of nuts, still leaving enough for Korra's father to gather up some and make a walnut cake with them, which to this day is the best thing Korra ever tasted.
