Physical Description:
Dineo is a person of colour who has parents of African and West Indie origins. Most think she's just of Spanish/African descent. She has very light brown skin with faint ruddy brown freckles sprinkled along her nose and cheeks. Her waist length hair is reddish brown and very curly; her hair is usually put into mini-braids. Dineo has warm brown eyes on a youthful, very pretty ovalish face. She's about five feet tall and weighs no more than eighty pounds. She doesn't seem too thin or too wide, and she looks her age.

Mental Description:
Dineo is a kind girl who sometimes comes off as unpleasant because of her usual reserved state. She doesn't like to open up to just anyone, it takes time for her to consider someone a true friend or person to trust. In general Dineo's always happy to help but it says a lot for her to put someone else before herself, especially in a serious situation. She's not afraid to stick up for or be herself because she grew up strong-minded. Some who know her well enough would describe Dineo as very bright and creative, but also rather ruthless and self-indulgent. She just strives to keep her independence and go after what she desires.

Some of Dineo's interests are reading novels (especially fantasy & horror), researching in general, cooking delicious meals, watching documentaries, eating sour sweets, window-shopping, and traveling abroad.

Biography:
As far as she knows, everyone in Dineo's family are muggles, and she didn't realize she wasn't one until far too recently. She was born in England, but her mother and father were born in Puerto Rico and Eritrea respectfully. She lives with them and her four brothers and sisters in Birmingham. Her family are very strict and serious people and put her in a special private school at a young age so she only grew up with the kids there and her relatives. Dineo was never really the outgoing type, tending to stick to her own interests that didn't involve anyone else. Her parents think she's somewhat apathetic and negligent while her siblings and younger cousins see her as someone they can trust and have real fun around, as long as they respect her. Her parents are wealthy (successful in real estate and marketing) but teach their children to be frugal and humble, so Dineo never grew up snobbish or even much aware of her semi-high class in society.

First Instance of Magic:
When Dineo was nine years old she got punished for failing a big test in school. She had been going through a stressful time when someone very meaningful passed away so she wasn't at her best. Her parents are mostly heartless so they disciplined her with isolation when she wasn't going to school. Dineo hates being confined and at some point being stuck in her room with nothing to do got so bad that she started screaming...but she apparently screamed so loud that every mirror in her vicinity—including ones outside her room—cracked or shattered. She thought it was the pitch of her voice at the time but it was actually magic.
