She has short light brown hair that reaches just above her shoulders and honey coloured eyes that are framed with gold circular glasses. She is very short at four foot seven and has many freckles covering her entire body.

She is very shy and afraid of loud noises and big spaces. Please don't scare her as that usually causes an outburst of magic. It is very hard to gain her trust but once you have it she is a friend for life that will always put you first. Emmaline is extremely studious but enjoys the odd prank here and there, writing short stories and drawing beautiful things. She a good person to confide in and when the time comes a strong fighter. She is usually a kind person who would be glad to help anyone unless she has seen you do something dishonourable or unkind.

Before Hogwarts she was living with her magical foster family who were very kind to her. Her real parents who were pureblood died when She was four, it is a sensitive subject so please don't mention it in front of her. She went to a public school where she only had a small group of friends, she excelled at the things they learnt and enjoyed it greatly. She has never left the country except when she went to Wales with her foster family once to go sailing.

Emmaline's first instance of magic happened at her foster sister's birthday when she popped a balloon behind her as a joke, the mix of the loud noise and the large space around her caused her anxiety to sky rocket and she had a panic attack. During this panic attack all the glass around her exploded and shards of glass went flying everywhere.
