Rowena has dark green eyes, with flecks of brown in them. Her hair is long, straight and brown. It falls just above her elbows. She has two small pieces of hair that frame her round face perfectly. She has bleached them blonde, because her grandmother hates it when people bleach her hair. Her skin is extremely pale. No matter how hard she tries, she can never seem to get a tan, and she just burns and goes bright pink. She wears a lot of green in her every day outfits, because they make her eyes more noticeable. Her eyes are her favorite feature, and she never believes people when they tell her she's pretty.

She is funny and sarcastic. She is always quick to come up with a sarcastic comment, and sometimes comes off as rude because of that. She is really sweet and kind, and incredibly loyal. She would never tell a friend's secret, and will MURDER you if you hurt her friends. Her sarcasm can sometimes cause people to assume she is mean, but she just has a lot of snarky and sarcastic things to say, and they often don't work in her favor. She is a rebellious person, and she never follows the rules.

Her dad is a wizard, and her mum was a muggle. Sadly, her mother died when she was very young. She lives in a normal house near Bristol, away from all of her other family, who live in Cornwall. She doesn't have many friends except for one girl, who recently moved away to America. She has never had many friends at school because of her sarcasm, but a lot of boys liked her. She has one sister who is a year younger than her. Her sister is funny, and the two argue a lot, even though they are very close. She hates her Grandmother because of her old fashioned customs, and deep loathing of modern opinions and customs. When they go and visit her grandmother, she always wears modern clothes and shows off her bleached strips of hair. Her grandmother is extremely strict, and Rowena and her sister, Marlene, live there half of the time when their dad is off on wizard business at the Ministry. The strictness of her grandmother has caused her to become even more rebellious, and she is considered one of the "bad kids" at her school.

Her first time accidentally using magic was when her dad decided to take her on a trip to Hawaii. She was so excited to go, that when she was in her room, packing up her stuff, she accidentally made her items that she was packing float up to the ceiling and bounce around the room like balloons! She had no idea what was going on, and it took her fifteen minutes to get them down. There were still a few floating around until her dad came in to her room and saw it. He was very happy that his daughter was a witch, because he was a wizard. He used a simple spell to get them all down, and she became even more excited than before, because her dad told her that in a couple years, she would get get her acceptance letter to Hogwarts!
