Zoe is a small girl, her height a mere 4'2; Severely underweight, and with a gentle composure, she's not exactly what you'd call strong, or threatening. Her hair, which is dyed strawberry blonde, is short; Barely coming down to her chin. Her eyes a round, and hazel. Whether they're in her size or not, most clothes often appear to be loose on her, as she's quite a bit thinner than the average person. When not in uniform, she prefers to dress in softer colors, such as pastels.

As for personality, Zoe can be rather shy; often seen stuttering, she is timid, and non-confrontational. She'd rather be pushed around and diminished rather than deal with the displeasure and anger of a fellow student. Although she has difficulty trusting others with her emotions, she is not only naive, but gullible, and is more than willing to believe a few tall tales. To her friends, she's a bit more open, and talkative, though she can still get pretty antsy.

Before Hogwarts, Zoe spent her life jumping between different foster homes. Throughout her life, she has met many different people; Some good, some bad. After a while, she had experienced some rather nasty personalities, and ultimately decided that it would be best simply to let others trample all over you, than to deal with the outcomes of their anger. Currently, she lives with a woman named Sam; She's a kind lady, but due to previous encounters and traumas, Zoe has difficulty trusting her.

Her first event of accidental under-aged magic occurred when she was nine; Though slow to anger, a boy in one of the foster homes destroyed one of her few comfort items; A large dog plush. Afterwards, she snapped completely, resulting in a few of the nearby glass windows shattering. As there was no way to prove that she was the cause of the event, she was never punished for this, though the caretakers were quite alarmed.
After being accepted to Hogwarts, Zoe hopes to be able to repair her stuffed toy.
