Both of her parents are pureblood and have attended Hogwarts before. She has two close friends where she lives, and her parents live in a big house and are well off. She was always surrounded by magic in her life so it isn't new to her at all. She is an only child and doesn't have any sisters or brothers.
Everyone first new she had magic when she was three. She had, not on purpose, put her hand in fire and it wasn't burned one bit. Since this is not normal for a regular muggle, they knew she was a witch and had magic in her blood.
