London, England

First year, Gryffindor

30,1 cm blackthorn wood and unicorn hair
Physical Description: With dirty blonde hair and blue-green eyes and standing at a mere 4'7", Alice Crabtree is extraordinarily ordinary. A dusting of freckles across her nose is the only thing that sets her apart from her barrage of siblings, who share the same or similar features. Alice can often be caught with tangled hair or scraped knees- she's quite the outdoorsy type, and sometimes her escapades end in a less-than-presentable appearance (at least, in her mother's opinion).

Mental Description: Alice is the most extroverted in her family- and she had to be, being the youngest and often overshadowed by her other siblings. Her exuberance is equally appreciated and scorned, depending on who you ask. Her siblings find her quite annoying, constantly butting into their business, but her parents admire her thirst for knowledge, as did her primary school teachers.

Biography: With four older siblings, two boys and two girls, Alice was the bonafide baby of the family, and she liked it that way. She got enough attention from her parents, attention that the elder four siblings might not have received, and though her siblings poked fun at her, she knew they loved her, too (perhaps except for one of her sisters). Her whole family consisted of Muggles, and you can imagine how surprised they were when a letter from Hogwarts arrived in the mail. They were quite accepting of their daughter's strange abilities, however, and sent her off to her new life with smiling faces, though they made her promise to visit on her holidays.

First Instance of Magic: The child closest in age to Alice hated her; she had all her parents' attention stripped away when Alice was born. She often pulled Alice's hair and pulled pranks on her, though she made sure to make them all look accidental, so as not to get in trouble with their parents. Once, Alice's sister scribbled black Sharpie all over the middle page of her favorite magazine, but upon bringing it to her parents to tattle, they cited that there was no Sharpie at all. An inspection by Alice confirmed these claims, and not a day went by that she didn't think about it- until she was accepted to Hogwarts, that is.
