Biography: She was born into a muggle family. From a young age, she was fascinated with the idea of magic existing. She obsessed with the idea that dragons, fairies, and mermaids MIGHT exist out there. Since she had muggle parents, it was a bit awkward when they first found out she had magic, but they were proud nonetheless.

First Instance of Magic: Haylie sighed. She went around her room, watering her assortment of plants. She stopped at her succulents near her window, looking down at the cherry blossom tree outside her window. She smiled. It was her favorite tree of all time.

Suddenly, her window threw itself open, a huge gust of wind blowing the girl back. She grabbed onto the window sill, squeezing her eyes shut. When she opened them, she saw cherry blossom petals flying into the room, dancing around her small figure. She giggled as the wind lightened, and the cherry blossoms tickled her. The cherry blossoms would still circle her, even when she moved away, and shut her window. The wind didn't stop. Now, she was a bit confused, until she saw her father peak his head through the crack in her door. "Daddy, did you see it?!"

~

Her father was outside the room, after hearing the slam of the window, and saw the cherry petals. He was both scared, and intrigued. His wife, Haylie's mother, had come along, and a tiny gasp was heard from her. "She's one of them." She stated. Aaron, Haylie's father, looked at his wife, confused. "My sister told me this was going to happen. It must be that.." She shook her head.
"We should send her to go live with them."
"But Shelley, what about Haylie? How will she feel?"
"It would make more sense for her to go live with a family of.. Her kind."
Aaron nodded, accepting this. He pushed open the door, and the cherry blossoms fell to the ground in a rush.
Haylie jumped up excitedly, running to her father. "Daddy! Did you see that?!"
"Yes, I did, about that... We need to talk."
