Su'mae! I'm Eirian Blake, and I'm from Aberystwyth which is in northern Wales if ya don't know.

I'm about 143cm, my parents call me dwt a lot, and both say I most likely won't grow much taller. They're probably right, but I can hope. In terms of my face, I'd say it's rather oval-shaped, and I'm quite pale. Until it gets cold, then my cheeks get red as tomatoes. My hair's black and at about a medium length (I don't like it any longer cause it gets all in my face) and I've got brown eyes. I have my ears pierced in the usual way, but I've also been trying to convince mum to let me get a second on my left ear. Clothing wise I like to wear darker colours- black, purples, blues, and greens- and I like skirts, often plaid printed ones. Aside from that, I'd say that my 'style' varies. I guess this won't matter 'cause we have a uniform here, but I'll probably try to modify it a little anyways.

In terms of personality, I think I'm fun. I've been told that I'm annoying on occasion, but I don't really care. Usually, I'm generally friendly, although I'm the type only to have a few actually close friends. I got in trouble a lot at school and home because I'm "not good at following rules"; I prefer to say I'm resourceful and clever in my way of doing things. Maybe rebellious, too, but I have a way of making things work out for myself anyway. I've always been a good story-teller, and I like to think I'm quick-witted and funny. Others have disagreed, but I think of that as their problem and not mine. My family and real good friends are the most important thing for me. I'm very loyal if you can earn it. I'm usually very good with goals; once I set them I do what it takes to meet them, though not always in the most hardworking or honest ways, I like to find shortcuts and 'work smart'.

Back home, I live with my mum and dad. I don't have any siblings, which is totally fine with me. I've had a lot of pets, and I absolutely love animals (regular and magical). Back home right now I have a hamster (Ysbryd), a budgie (Cynllwyn), two leopard geckos (George and Marley) and a St. Bernard (Rhoswen). I was rather upset to find out I couldn't bring my lizards or my dog to Hogwarts. My mum is a witch, and my dad's a muggle, but he knows what mum is, so I've always sort of known about magic. Aside from magic, I suppose my home life is pretty ordinary. I went to school with only muggle kids, so I had to be careful talking about magic with anyone. So, my life has been pretty split with both magic and muggle things. I'm not much the type to sit down and read, I prefer to run around and play tricks or fool around, but I did read a lot about animals at home. Mum got me all kinds of books, mostly muggle ones, and let me flip through her old copy of Fantastic Beasts whenever I liked. I've only ever met and cared for regular animals, but I'm excited to learn more hands-on with magical ones here.

The first instance of magic I can remember was when I was around eight. I had a fight with a neighbour's kid- he took a stuffed animal of mine that I loved and wouldn't give it back. We were just outside my house, and mum had all the windows open and various plants and pots on the sills. I was chasing the boy around, yelling at him and getting increasingly more upset until one of the glass vases on the window shattered suddenly. The boy got scared and ran off after dropping my toy, so I got what I wanted, but I didn't realise that I had done it, but mum was fairly certain when we talked about it later.
