Appearance
Cade's appearance has changed considerably from his first year. No longer does he resemble an overgrown beanstalk, his once wiry frame has filled out into a rather lean build thanks to the exertion of dueling. His skin is still quite pale, one might mistake him for a dhampir, but he is very much a human-born wizard. Cade's black hair has become rather messy and long ever since he started avoiding Peggy's scissors, but his midnight eyes hold just the same amount of seriousness as before. The young Ravenclaw's style has just started to take shape. His wardrobe is leaning towards oversized sweaters and tote bags, fingers almost always dusted with charcoal and pants stained with paint. But make no mistake, Cade likes to keep himself clean. But his mother's bakery is impossible for him to be rid of. A fresh cinnamon chocolate chip scent lingers almost everywhere he goes.

Mentality
Cade is a clever wizard. His eyes can usually be found trained in a book of classic literature. He is fascinated by the arts. He enjoys writing and sketching. Cade also busies himself with baking, whenever there is a kitchen vacant. He takes pride in his creations, even if he is quite reserved about them. Cade is pretty quiet and somewhat sassy in a good-natured way. People that get to know him, find that he is a loyal companion. Always kind, always looking out for the next man.

Pre Hogwarts
Cade lived with his mother in Ottery St Mary. Their residence was a cramped townhouse downtown. Mrs. Peggy Darkbound is a strict woman who is very protective of her son. She never allowed him to play with the other muggle boys that lived on his street. Instead tasked him with chores around the house and looking after his little sister Astrid. Poor Astrid is regularly ill due to her weak immune system. Mrs. Darkbound rarely lets her out of the house. When Cade is not busy reading or doing other chores he's spending time with his sister. He often reads to her or sneaks her sweets. Mr. Charles Darkbound is rarely home. As he works in the Department of International Cooperation for the Ministry. Mr. Darkbound is always abroad, only visiting briefly to catch up, before being hurried away back to work.

First Magic
Cade's first instance of magic was when he snuck out for the night with one of the boys on the street. His mother and sister were both asleep, and the boys wanted to play one last round of cops and robbers. Cade was to play a robber and hid in the church graveyard. But it took ages for anyone to find him. He then realized that he had turned invisible. No one could see him! The next morning when he finally returned home (the other boys had given up searching, for they thought he had left) Mrs. Darkbound was furious! She didn't let him out of his room for the rest of the summer.
