Mika was born in the cathedral city of Winchester, where she lived her whole life. Her mother, Sawako Yamamoto, was a Japanese witch who attended Mahoutokoro School of Magic.

However, in her 6th year, she was expelled for casting dark magic, even though it was an act of self-defense. Shamed and humiliated, Yamamoto ran away to England in hopes of starting a new life.

There, she encountered and fell for a charming Muggle boy named Dillan Williams, who she married years after. Through their espousal, they birthed three children, Ryu, Lynn, and Mika.

Mika was the first and only child who showed signs of magic. And it started when she was five. She was in her small bedroom, doodling on paper splayed on the wooden floor. Her baby siblings were taking a nap, so she decided to do something to cure her boredom.

But her drawing was interrupted by a scream, and she froze. It was her parents, they were arguing again. Mika heard her siblings wake up, wailing and crying as all babies do in distress. She rushed to the nursery and attempted to calm them down, but they began to cry louder.

Defeated, Mika tried to hide in the corner of the pink-walled room, covering her ears as the cacophony of screaming became unbearable. When she felt like she was about to burst, she heard a loud “pop”. She opened her eyes to see her siblings floating above their cribs.

Her parents hurried into the room to see what caused the loud noise, and shock slowly dawned onto their faces. With awe and bewilderment in her eyes, Mika’s mother slowly approached her and carried Mika in her arms, reassuring her that everything will be okay.

Looks:
Mika has dark, wavy hair cut short to her shoulders. Her eyes are dark brown, contrasting to her pale skin. She usually wears a jumper and shorts, with fishnet tights underneath it all. Mika will never leave without her Citrine pendant, a family heirloom that was passed to her from her father.

Personality:
Like her mother, Mika is an idealist with dreams fuelling her to strive. She reads books to escape from harsh reality and into a world of endless possibilities. Although some might describe her as naive, she's actually quite the opposite. Mika is very quick-witted and intelligent. She never misses the chance to obtain knowledge, no matter if it's useless or not. Mika also values integrity, empathy, and creativity above everything else, and she is very passionate about her beliefs. But when angered, Mika can become reckless, and do/say things that she often looks down on.
