Kenneth, who comes from a the pureblooded King family, was born in Norwich on February 6th, 2009. His family was small as their family home, a narrow little town house that was settled smack dab in the middle of Norwich. His father was an Auror, while his mother owned a little book shop, which he spent most of his days at. His mother watched him through his entire childhood, and simply kept him with her at the shop. While his father wasn't so kind to the muggles and muggleborns within his work, his Mother was far more kind and treated everyone as if they were the same. His parents made a point to never talk about those views to each other, knowing it would only end in an argument. Both of them made things work for him, as he was their only child, and they just wanted him to have a good childhood. He likes to think he had a good one, too, though he would've liked if his father had worked less, so he didn't have to be kept in a stuffy book shop all day with his mother- as much as he loved her, the same thing every day did get quite boring.

As a young child, you would never catch him without his nose in a book, always keeping to himself and keeping quiet. His first showing of magic happened to be when a page in a book he was reading turned on his own- he hadn't been trying, simply reading whatever book his mother had handed him that day. He was only four at the time, the same age his mother had been when she had her first accidental use of magic. Immediately, he ran to her in excitement to tell her what had happened, and she took him to get ice cream in celebration.

When he was seven years old, his father tragically passed away while on the job, hit with an Unforgivable Curse that took his life too soon. This only made young Kenny withdrawal from people more, sticking close to his mother at all times. As he grew older, and hit the age of nine, his mother began to prepare him to go off to Hogwarts by forcing him to go out on walks on his own. These did help him to not be so attached, but they've left him with a habit of looking over his right shoulder to make sure no one is trailing after him. While he's still very much a Momma's boy, he's less attached, he still remains quiet and keeps his nose in his books most of the time. On the train to Hogwarts, you most likely would've found him in a little room on his own, with his nose stuck in some book based around quidditch or some muggle book, which he's already read at least twenty times. You may even catch him peeking into one of the rooms with the older ravenclaw kids to ask them what Hogwarts was like, or asking what the ravenclaw commons looked like ("but I'm sure I'll find out on my own, so you don't have to tell me!").

Just as he assumed he would be, he was sorted into ravenclaw, and got to see the common room with his own eyes.
