Hi I'm Jade Sunshine (but you can call me Jay or Sunny)
I'm a first year student from England, although my mother is Irish. I have long ginger hair (a trait from my mum, Amber) and grey eyes like my dad, Neco. My sister, Sapphire (or Sapphy) has grey eyes too but short, mousey hair which she usually wears in 2 plaits. I have a brother too named Pugna (a Latin word meaning fight, my Grandad Fortis chose his name) he is the youngest. I come from a long line of pure blooded witches and wizards who were all in Slytherin (except for my great-great-great uncle Gerald, but we don't talk about him). Sapphy is currently in 5th year and Pugna will be joining next year unless he gets eaten by one of the family snakes which has been known to happen before (my cousin Beatrice, a squib, aggravated them and she was bitten- died from blood loss) My interests are baking and reading but I love quidditch and I hope to make my house's team next year. My favourite professional team are Holyhead Harpies, my dream is to play for them when I'm older. If I don't succeed as a quidditch player I'd like to work in magizoology or herbology. My first proof of magic was when I was at nursery and it was raining but I managed to stay dry without a coat or umbrella and the rest of the class were soaked. I can't wait to meet new friends so if you see me come say hi; I'm also excited to learn new spells. I can already tell I'm going to love flying and I can't wait to try Care for Magical Creatures in future years, my sister says it's the best. Sorry I've got to go now before I'm late for my first class.
