Born in a small rural area in the Lake District of England, Orianna never really knew much of her family growing up inside of the care system from just ten days old the young brunette would often be placed in and around different households up until the age of 3 years old when finally she would come to find her forever family in the fall of 2012.
Fall 2012
For as long as they could possibly remember Gareth and Moira Lightfoot had always wanted a family of their own to take over the family farm upon becoming of age but one thing sadly had gotten in their way... infertility all until they would be matched with a bright and funny young girl by the name of Orianna and soon after the placement would begin they're hearts became set that this was the daughter that they had been searching for and soon put in for her adoption to be finalised.
The adoption being made final two years later in the October of 2014, Orianna would begin the local school and start her life as a proper family spending her weekdays in school and building fond memories with her family on the farm of a weekend as well as travelling around the entire United Kingdom and further afield most summer long holidays making a few friends in the local area the young girls childhood would be filled with love, joy and adventure all until that fateful day in 2018 where at just 9 years old her true colours would begin to show light a confusion that would be cleared up two years later.
The Incident
2018.... was not the best year for the Lightfoots as things started heading downhill for the farming industry and Orianna with the stress of her upcoming migration to senior school would end up losing her way momentarily her unknown side shining through as during the evenings whilst she would complete her homework tasks set during school hours, her supplies would randomly disappear whilst she was lost in thought much to her parents disapproval.
Soon, however things would start to make sense as the transition drew closer for the Lightfoot child when randomly one day she would get a letter through the mail addressed to her but with not knowing anybody who could it be from? Surely it was some kind of mistake?
The Letter Arrives
Breaking through the wax seal, Orianna and her family would soon learn the truth that the young girl wasn't the average normal girl that they had all expected infact she happened to be a witch that had been invited to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry that very fall of 2020, surely this was some kind of joke? Or at least that is what they thought until they discovered the truth and it all became clear.
Orianna's Mother was once a witch of the school who had fallen in love with an ordinary man on a night out and soon came Orianna but with them being so young and with no money they had opted to support the young girl by placing her up for adoption which the girl herself and her family would learn after her adoption supplies arrived with a letter in its midst, so leaving for Diagon Alley that very day Orianna and her parents would buy all the needed supplies for her first year that was due to start on September 1st.
September 1st, 2020.
Travelling to Kings Cross Station after stopping over in Pimlico the evening before time would soon pass by as the family all looked for the correct location and platform with a struggle not getting much help from the workers of the station but finally after hours of searching their destination would be located and saying a final goodbye to her parents with tears in her dark eyes, the young girl would board the train her new life just moments away from starting.
But what would her life be now she was a witch and a student of an ancient magical school? Only time will tell.
