Cole is a young, kind-hearted kid with long brown hair, and blue eyes who has struggles controlling his emotions and prone to doing something he doesn't quite understand isn't the ideal idea at times due to his father leaving him and his older brother, Ty, at a young age, added upon with the fact that his mother always working multiple jobs just to keep a roof over their head. Though she tries her best, it leaves a lot of strain on his brother to basically raise them both, and his older brother has his own life with high-school so it leaves Cole alone to his own devices and caused a slight stigma towards his younger brother because most of his plans get canceled. In his vast alone time HE loves to learn new things and has picked up on various hobbies! You can say he's a jack of all trades (though he's worse than average at most of them.) and has yet to find his true calling. Though he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, he is willing to listen to anyone, and will probably take their word at face value, leaving him a bit naive and easily susceptible to manipulation. Cole really enjoys comic books and all sorts of various super heroes media. Causing that to become his biggest dream, to become someones hero. To the point where he would be ever reckless if there is a need for him to act. like when he was 8 there was a cat in tree, he climbed his way up there and broke his arm after falling multiple times not being able to reach which helped him have his first experience with magic, for by the time the doctor was able to see him, his arm was miraculously healed? this brought out the wonder in his eyes, making him think he had super hero healing causing him to become more reckless, until he picked a fight with a bully ending up with a black eye that healed normally. Another occurrence is when he was left alone while his brother went to a party, so in attempts to make his own food he put together a concoction of rotten hot dogs, ketchup and marshmallows with a fowl smell. shutting his eyes, and holding his nose, he took a bite. and to his surprise?! It tasted good! now opening his eyes, his food appeared to be changed into a juicy steak. freaked out at first, he just went on normally thinking his brother surprised him and left. And the final time that let him really know he had something special was when the local bully, the one from before that gave him the black eye shared a birthday with him, so they had a joint eleventh birthday party, but the bully took all the attention and made cole but a afterthought in the whole thing. Until, things started slowly going bad for the bully. First, the bully had ants climb up his legs. Second, his slice of cake was replaced with mud. and the final piece was the sprinklers came on soaking a particular part on his pants, making it seem as he wet himself. causing the entire party to laugh at him, and to run away. Realizing he caused all this grief, and unsure of why he was able to do this. he went to make it up to the bully. bringing him a new slice of cake, and patting his back before splashing some water on his own pants as they walked out to the party together. slowly becoming friends. scared of what he could do, he wanted to stay inside to protects other from himself, even skipping a couple days of school. until the day he got the letter that explained everything..
