Annalise is very shy and quiet. She’s awkward around others and is clumsy. She may not seem it, but she is highly intelligent but keeps it to herself. No one really knows she exists so she thinks of herself as “just a background character”. She always worries what others think of her. She is kind. She knows a lot about others despite them not knowing her. She is a big bookworm and also loves to draw.
Astrid has short, wavy, dark brown hair and brilliant blue eyes. Her skin is pale and she often has a weird faraway look in her eyes. She is an average height.
She has a small sister who she cares about a lot who’s name is Cynthia, and both her parents are muggles. Her father died when she was 8 due to a car crash that she blames herself for. Her father was the main economical support for the family and since his death, they have been going through some financial struggle. They own a small bakery. She keeps her father’s death a secret because she is afraid that if people find out what exactly happened on that day they will hate her.
Her magic first surfaced when she was eight. She was drawing something and her sister, Cynthia, asked her what it was, looking over her shoulder. Annalise was kind of annoyed at her sister and did not like to show people her art so she ignored her sister and covered it with her hand so that she couldn't see it. Cynthia grabbed the book from her to see, and in doing so accidentally ripped it. Annalise was angry at her but then, suddenly, the paper put itself back together right in front of her eyes, leaving no sign of the tear. She and her sister had no idea how that had happened.
Annalise is also known as Anna, Ann, or whatever you want to call her.
