Hi, my name is Allison Mills, and I'm an English half-blood from Queensbury, England. My father is muggle-born while my mother is also a half-blood. I'm an only child so I don't have any siblings to get along with, so I often have to make friends.

I have black hair, a bit longer than shoulder-length, with dark brown eyes. My favorite color is purple, and I've always wanted to dye the tips of my hair purple, but my parents wouldn't let me.

I'm a quite friendly person, but sometimes I can be a perfectionist. I enjoy spending time with friends and am happy to make new ones. I enjoy reading but lately, I haven't had as much time, because I've been getting ready for Hogwarts.

My first sign of magic was when I was about 4 years old. I was taking a walk with my mom in the park, getting some exercise and fresh air. I was happily skipping on the sidewalk, far ahead of my mom. I turned around and looked at her, continuing to skip, this time going backward. I called out and teased her for being so slow, saying she couldn't catch up to me. The next thing I knew, I tripped on a rock and fell backward. My hands automatically flew behind me, trying to break my fall. I started crying, my hands got scraped on the rough sidewalk, and some parts were bleeding. My mom rushed over to take a look at my hands. Slowly, all the blood disappeared, as if it was getting sucked back into my body. Then my skin started healing. In a few minutes, it was like nothing happened. I can only remember bits and pieces of what happened. But that was my first sign of magic.
