Akina's long dark brown hair goes down to her the small of her back (which is a feat with her 5ft height for a girl her descent), usually in a high ponytail or other styles to keep it from falling all over the place.

Her blue eyes pierce through most people, her stare intense as a defensive mechanism of all the bullying she went through as a small child. However whenever she smiles they light up like a toddler with a new toy, bright and carefree that most people melt at her childishness.


Akina is often quiet and shy when she's just starting in a new space. Kind and hard contemplation of her movements and words which often slip up into what is known as word-vomit until she recedes into herself in self-pity or loathing.
Despite this she is very brash and caring, doing anything she can for those who stay close. Wanting to better herself with a magical adventure she thought she'd never had, her curious nature is one at the forefront for most of the time. The magical beauty around her forever being a whimsical fantasy that she believes she will eventually wake up from


Akina was born in Japan just before her parents fled the Yakuza and ended up in Britain, both muggles and unable to protect themselves from the danger they were in they went into hiding. The little baby Akina grew up without knowing this, just assuming that her parents were not that well off and trying their best to give her the life they also wanted. Respectful of their wishes, she tried her hardest to get along with her classmates and be the most considerate child in existence.

This didn't always happen the way that she planned however, whether it was her personality or random bursts of tantrums that occurred around her. Being one try and understand the world around she began to read more and more books about mythical beasts and the supernatural. "Mommy, I swear it was the ghost that threw that against the wall!" became words that were uttered from her mouth more and more often. Along with, "Please, I can't reach that high. It's obviously faeries."

Little did she know that this was her magic slipping out of the steams, and her parents were getting more and more angry at her growing lies. By her 11th birthday they were searching for answers to change their daughters attitude while remaining in the shadows from their pursuers. When the letter arrived in the mail, they thought it just a prank from their daughter, trying to get them into her scheme of magic being real but the letter just kept coming. Even when the post wasn't suppose to be there and their daughter away at her only friend's house.

Upon opening the letter was like a dream come true for her. She was bursting with excitement as she had her hand trace over the words. Her parents proud and once again believing in her. She couldn't wait to start her new life in this magical land she was only scraping the top of. Akina looked at her parents pleading, and this was when they realized that this moment was why they ran. To keep her safe to start her life anew.
