Rayla Blackwood is a half-blood which, her father is a wizard by the name Arnold Blackwood and her mother is a muggle by the name Astoria Blackwood formerly Astoria Smith.
She has long slightly wavy brown hair and doe like brown eyes, she stands at around 4'9 which is roughly 147.64 in centimeter.
Her life before Hogwarts was a normal one, she was homeschooled for most of her elementary school life and was constantly frolicking in the gardens outside once she was done with her work for the day. One day she was outside and a couple of girls decided to jeer at her for not going to normal school, they said a couple of things that managed to rile up Rayla and so she lashed out, the girls were pushed by an invisible force just a bit and they ran off after Rayla "pushed" them. Her mother saw the entire exchange and told her father about it, he simply told Rayla and her Mother that he was a wizard. He told the Ministry of Magic about it and they sent out obliviators to erase the girls memories of the encounter.
Rayla was puzzled but figured that he was just playing a joke on herself and her mother, so they didn't bother with the display of magic that Rayla produced, she disregarded her fathers words when he told her that her Hogwarts letter was going to come on her birthday, which was on June 19th. It posed as a bit of a shock when Rayla and her mother found out that her father was indeed a wizard. Which leads up to here.
