HISTORY
Conrad was born to two muggles, Elizabeth and Charles Harris, in Chester, England on a sunny evening in the middle of April. Shortly after having him however, their marriage fell apart - and not really to the fault of either of them. As it turned out, Elizabeth was homosexual. The two of them had married young, and had Conrad young, before Elizabeth had truly been able to figure herself out. Although Charles loved her, and was hurt, he let her go. The divorce was simple, and peaceful. Charles took custody of Conrad, although Elizabeth would visit with him on special occasions.
Being a single father was difficult for Charles, as he never really remarried. Conrad remembers some girlfriends stopping by, but they never stuck around for long. The longest girlfriend Charles had was Lilly, from America. Conrad had thought her breath smelled like fish, and she would always lean over him and coo at him as if he was an infant when he was in fact eight. They really only dated for six months before Charles broke it off. Conrad doesn't really know why his father never remarried. He just never found another woman that he loved as much as Elizabeth, perhaps. Either way, he was pretty much the only one caring for Conrad, except for his best friend, Conrad's godmother Isla, who stopped by every once in a while to baby sit. Conrad and Charles had to fend for themselves, and it made them very close.
Conrad had always had a wild imagination, which was why, when Conrad claimed that strange things sometimes happened around him, Charles brushed it off as dreams of the young child. As Conrad grew a bit older, so did he - mostly because he had gotten bullied for these claims. So it came as a surprise to them both when he received a letter from Hogwarts. Fortunately for them, Isla turned out to be a witch, and she helped the two out in order to get the things that Conrad needed for school.
PERSONALITY
Conrad has a very curious and complex personality, and he is constantly contradicting himself. In that way, you could say he's rather unpredictable, but it also is partly because he's still trying to find himself (I mean duh, he's eleven). He's incredibly kindhearted and wouldn't hurt a fly yet, if prompted, can whip out the most stinging, and rude comebacks. He's quite humorous, always making jokes and wild comments, yet can be serious at the drop of a dime. He's clever and educated, yet can sometimes be stumped over the simplest of puzzles. He's a wild card, with a lot of energy, that can sleep just about anywhere, any time. His disposition and demeanor are nervous, anxious, especially in social situations, yet he's the most self-confident eleven year-old you could meet. He's often described as just plain crazy. The only three things you can (most of the time) count on: he's incredibly loyal to those he deems close, is very open and understanding about emotions (beyond his age) and outwardly, seems deceptively quiet. Actually, most often, unless he trusts you, he can seem incredibly dull he's so quiet. Often he doesn't even speak to people he doesn't feel comfortable around. Once you earn that trust, however, he shows the other facets of his character.
