Hello my name is Ella and I can’t wait to start my first year here at Hogwarts! So a little bit about me, I was born on the 26th of October.
I'm quite short and I have long, curly blonde hair. I'm supposed to be wearing glasses but they annoy me! So I wear contacts instead! I love reading and I'm a bit competitive and I love challenges! I’ve always wanted to be like my mum, she’s a witch and she went to Hogwarts too! My father is a muggle which makes me a half-blood.
My mum’s parents have always been a stickler for keeping their family blood line pure, and they were pretty mad when they heard that mum was going to marry my father, a muggle. Since then, there has always been tension between my mum and her parents. I believe that in the end, it will all work out between the two of them...
I remember the first time when I first showed signs of magic. It was at a school yard back when I was in year two. I wore big square glasses, they were so big that they would always slide down my nose. I was sitting at the bottom of the slide, reading a book when two girls, came up to me and called me four eyes over and over again, others even joined in and called me "specky"
I was so embarrassed and I wanted to cry but I would've just embarrassed myself even more. So I just sat there, my face in my hands, holding my tears back. Then before I knew it, the laughter turned into horrified screams.
I looked up to see the two girls, another pair of eyes seemed to grow out of their forehead, looking around the school yard. They cried and cried but when the teachers came over to see what was going on, the extra pair of eyes seemed to vanish quickly as it came.
Once I came home, I told my mum everything and she jumped with joy and told me I had magic in me.
I’m really excited to go to Hogwarts because I've been wanting to go since my mum told me all about it. I've been eager to learn about the wizarding world and all the magic it holds!
