Rian Pack was always an adventurous type. He'd climb trees, explore forests, and loved nature. Being a pure-blood, he was often around magic, he found it rather normal and unimpressive. His mother and father, Lorelei and August Pack, would usually tell him stories of their days at Hogwarts. Rian was more interested in the classes, Potions, Herbology, and more.

He loved learning new things, even if he was bad at them. He often begged his father to go and buy him new books on a variety of subjects. He especially loved ones about Herbs, creatures, and even muggle history. Combined with his love of adventure, he would often go out and list all the herbs he can find. He would often get hurt by eating them, or being attacked by animals. After one bad incident, his mother started to join him.

Rian's family was not too wealthy. So he often did not have much luxury, and wore shabby clothes. He often did not get presents, or things he wanted. But this taught him that he has to work hard for things that he wants. His mother mostly stayed at home and took care of the house, with his help when needed. His father never talked about work, however he was often out late. It put food on the table and allowed for Rian to live a carefree life.

When the time came for Rian to go to Hogwarts, his family was overjoyed. His mother told him to follow the rules, and not get into his normal mischief. Always to pay attention, since he had a habit of not doing so, and to make many friends. His father just told him to study hard, then brought him to get his supplies. Rian was nervous, excited, and a bit sad to leave home.
