Erika Analise Roseweld was born on June 23 to Liam and Analise Roseweld. By the age of one, her parents were calling her a prodigy. She had begun to walk in half the time a regular baby did, she could count to about 100 and knew many words. She could put together full sentences. She grew, and throughout her years as a toddler, she continued to learn quickly and was enrolled into a small private school at the age of 4. Unfortunately, during the next few years, her smarts did not grow as they did in her younger years. Her parents dismissed the prodigy act, and grew very disappointed. This led to always having lots of pressure put on Erika and resulted in a very confusing state of metal health.
Her parents didn't help her. They would leave mysteriously for hours, leaving Erika struggling at home with homework or cooking. Erika was not exactly a curious child, so she did not think to investigate their whereabouts. She didn't really care, anyway. Time alone from the pressure they put on her was very much appreciated.

Erika was delighted to get her Hogwarts letter. Although she had seen both of her parents preform various tasks with magic, and had even been able to do a little bit herself, she never understood it. Magic intrigued her greatly, and she could not wait.
