Hello! My name is Hope Peterson, and I’m eleven years old. I come from Galway, in Ireland. My father is a wizard and my mother a muggle. I’ve got one little brother, who is five years old. He’s very noisy, but so cute! His name’s Peter. I’ve got a big little sister to, she’s nine years old, her name is Grace. She’s calmer than my brother, and very quiet. She’s always reading in her bedroom!

I’m a very outgoing, sociable and cheerful person, I like hanging out with friends and I laugh a lot! I’m generous and self-confident. I can keep a secret, because I’m reliable. And above all, I’m courageous, tenacious and I’m a free spirit!

I’m quite tall for my age, I’ve got big brown and sparkling eyes, and long straight brown hair.

My principal hobby is the piano! That’s all my life, and I like the sound that it produces and… I feel free when I’m playing this instrument. It’s like if all my problems disappeared; and I’m immediately transported in another world.

The first time magic happened, I was six. It happened during a dinner... with all the neighbors! I was angry with my mother, because she didn't want me to eat another piece of cake, and I made the tables shake; all the dishes crashed...

I can’t wait to go to Hogwarts! This is my dream, and I’ve always wanted to learn magic spells… and how to ride a broomstick! I hope that I will be placed in Gryffindor, my whole family was sent there; it represents courage and bravery.
