My name is Dexter Oswin and I am 11. I live in a quite small place in Hyton in England. My mother Amelia his Muggle and she married Phil, my father who is also wizard what makes me a half-blood! My twin sister who called Sidney it’s practically my best friend. I share all my life with her such as: my tears, my laughs, my anxieties… Unfortunately, she never received her letter for Hogwarts indeed she had to stay home with mom, and I am disappointed to leave her alone. Even if I am excited to go to Hogwarts, I think she his lucky because she didn’t have to change school or to leave our friends. My big brother Keefe is 15 and he also studied at Hogwarts school. Gryffondor is his house and I think he kind of really like his life over there because he talked to us about that every time!

I think I am the one who makes friends quite easily due to my pleasant nature. I am very simplistic; I like to make my friends laugh with my jokes even if they said I am immature. I am quite distracted, and I am not able to stay focused for a long time. However, I am very curious, and I never hesitate to speak up in order to ask my questions for the greatest misfortune of my parents!


Physically, I am not tall for my age because I am 1.33 meter high. I pay a lot of attention to my hair because I found they save my freaky face. Of a brown being able to draw towards the blond in summer, they are generally rather long except when my mother decides to pursue me a pair of scissors in hand. My two big hazel eyes allow me to observe the world around me and are very useful to draw!

My parents realized that I have magical abilities when I was 9. Sidney and I were playing in the garden and she slapped me because I made fun of her teddy bear. I was so furious because she has never done that before. Then, I suddenly saw her face turning green. It was scary at first and luckily didn't last long. My dad explained me the same day the world of magic!
