Easy to recognize by his freckled face, messy hair and slanted eyes, Noctus is a silent 11-year-old. He might seem reserved sometimes, but he’s just an unhurried and distracted boy. He’s sometimes away with the fairies, but he’s nice. The ones that know him best assure that he’s an easy-going person, likable and even charismatic. Except, of course, from when he’s upset. What he hates the most is feeling embarrassment; he finds it very frustrating, and when he’s frustrated he’s still very immature.

Born one 9th of March in Liverpool, England, he was the eldest son of Maddie and Thadeus Eastoft. Followed two years later by her younger sister, Honoria, being an Eastoft was easy from the beginning. A pure-blood family, wealthy enough and politically neutral. A charming surname, and also recognizable. Being probably the only magical family of Chinese ancestry, you could guess Noctus was an Eastoft in a blink of an eye.

One of Maddie and Thadeus Eastoft’s favorite stories is, still today, the show up of Noctus’ first signs of magic. One story that, of course, he doesn’t like hearing anymore. He is starting in Hogwarts this year and he was just a kid back then! Anyway, here you are: The day he turned seven, he was taking a bath while playing with some toys when some red bubbles started to come out from the bottom of the bathroom’s door. He was so excited imagining that his toys were escaping from an erupting volcano, that he accidentally made a soap one himself.
