Pre-Hogwarts History ::
Born into a family of purebloods, Travis's life has revolved around magic. His father worked in the ministry, and his mother was a rather famous potions maker. He and his twin sister Opal were born and raised in luxury and have already gotten exactly what they've wanted.
The two siblings always got along quite well and were in fact in separable. They were the poster children of twin relationships. Finishing each other sentences, having exact same interests, essentially bound at the hip. The two of them were an unstoppable force growing up. Travis, the more adventurous of the two, and Opal the brains of the team.
When Opal failed to receive her invitation to the magical school when the twins turned eleven, things went downhill. Travis, however, did receive his letter. A rift formed between the twins. Travis, for the first time in his life, would be separate from his other half.
Regardless of the sudden rift in their lives, Travis was forced to move forward. In his own mind, he couldn't even remember having any signs of magic in his life. However, on numerous occasions, a cookie or lollipop would somehow float his way if he found the craving. Trying to focus and make such sweets float toward him, however, proved fruitless. The earliest instance was around the age of nine.
His excitement to begin his first year at Hogwarts increases each day. Travis some day hopes to become a potions master like his mother or potentially an aura.
Personality ::
His childhood was rather fortunate and it reflects in his personality. Travis is a very pretentious boy. He isn't ashamed of where it came from and is quick to judge others based on their upbringing. He is quick to defend his parents and his twin sister.
Despite that upbringing, Travis is still a kind boy. He is still aware that others were not quite as fortunate as he happened to be. He is quick to help others that he believes deserve the extra hand. He's not quick to help people who are unwilling to help themselves.
Travis is full of quick whit and sarcasm. He has a mysterious sense of humor that can light a room, but can just as easily snap and go into a flurry of opinionated outbursts. He has strong opinions but bases much of his choices on facts. If you can prove that he is wrong, he'll accept it, but only if you provide the proof.
Appearance ::
Travis mostly takes after his mother, having inherited her crystal blue eyes and almond hair. He is well built for his age. Spending a lot of time outdoors has also added a darker tone to his skin and lightens his almond hair slightly in the summer.
He wears mostly sweatshirts with his house colors with a grayscale button up underneath and a pair of dark navy jeans. In the colder months he can be seen wearing a thicker black jacket.
